Holstein Therme Bad Schwartau

Bad Schwartau, which is not far from the historic Hanseatic city of Lübeck in the Baltic coast region, is not only known for its jams, but also for its long-standing bathing traditions. Thermal brine springs containing iodine were first used in as early as 1895. These still provide natural healing water to the Holstein Therme spa, Bad Schwartau – Schleswig-Holstein’s only thermal bath containing iodine, located at the heart of the town’s spa gardens – from a depth of 348 metres. As well as pure relaxation, iodine brine was Anton Baumann’s source for various medicinal applications, such as treatments for rheumatic diseases, vegetative disorders, or skin problems. Due to its ground-level location, the interior of the Holstein Therme spa is also suitable for handicapped visitors. Children over the age of four welcome with adult supervision.

Meerwasser-Wellenbad Eckernförde

The Meerwasser-Wellenbad pool in Eckernförde guarantees carefree swimming fun, as well as relaxation in the “Hot Spot” sauna area! Directly on the Baltic coast in Eckernförde, the Meerwasser family water park awaits you with a large wave pool and lots of activities for water babies. The “Hot Spot” sauna area covers 870 m2 and offers modern, unlimited sauna enjoyment with a direct view of the sea. The “Subtropisches Badeparadies” in Weissenhäuser Strand guarantees year-round tropical temperatures: water 29°C, air 31°C! Entdeckerbad - Ostsee Resort Damp

The family fun pool in the "Entdeckerbad" attracts visitors with its two slides. There is a 100-metre-long tyre slide, and a new 66-metre-long speed chute, which opened in December 2016. Slide at speeds of up to 10 metres per second! LED lighting effects and a timer complement the high-speed slide. Other highlights are the Viking village, a children’s adventure pool, and an indoor and outdoor pool – both of which offer a dreamlike view of the Baltic Sea.

There is much for all visitors to discover in three adventure areas – the so-called “cubes”. From the short film cinema to an area where you can try your hand at fun scientific experiments to the touch-screen quizzes and games about the Baltic coast and the Vikings, there is something for all true explorers.

The FehMare on the southern beach in Fehmarn offers year-round aquatic fun, and covers an area of 4,500 square metres. The integrated wellness section with its panoramic sea view sauna, steam bath and outdoor roof sauna guarantees pure relaxation. PlönBad

The PlönBad leisure pool in Holstein Switzerland offers swimming facilities for all ages and all tastes. On the 1st Saturday of each month, there is a children’s afternoon between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., with several other attractions.
